These is our little local creek. There are a series of small waterholes which have yabbies and dragonflies...with water running over rocks. These are some Spring Waratahs - Telopia speciosissima I took these photos last Saturday - these flowers still continue to amaze and fascinate me...they are such a stunning and visually dramatic flowers. Each Spring I am still drawn to photograph these stunning Australian wildflower.

These flowers are found on the Little Kurrajong - Brachychiton bidwillii - trees. At this time of year they lose their leaves and these spectacular bunches of flowers appear. A few days ago I photographed these Baldy Pigeons (they are also known as White-Headed pigeons) over on the Clarence River near Grafton in northern NSW.
