Spring Waratah

These are some Spring Waratahs - Telopia speciosissima I took these photos last Saturday - these flowers still continue to amaze and fascinate me...they are such a stunning and visually dramatic flowers. Each Spring I am still drawn to photograph these stunning Australian wildflower.  

Baldy or White-headed pigeons

A few days ago I photographed these Baldy Pigeons (they are also known as White-Headed pigeons) over on the Clarence River near Grafton in northern NSW.
