All inquiries seeking permission for the use of Lynette Weir’s artwork are most welcome.

Please be aware if you use my images/artwork without permission you will be required to pay a licensing fee. It is always better to ask than take.

Lynette does support some non-profit organisations by allowing them permission to use her artwork.

However, due to the increase in requests, if you are a commercial venture please be aware that Lynette will not give permission to use her artwork images without remuneration. Lynette spends many hours creating her designs and artwork and it is not unreasonable for those wishing to use her images to remunerate Lynette for the reproduction of her artwork within their commercial venture.

Requesting Permission – Link to Contact Page

Lynette Weir requires the disclosure, if applicable, of any affiliations to any other organisations the requesting person or organisation have, which by association may be seen to link Lynette Weir’s artwork with that organisation.

Lynette Weir does not want her artwork used to promote an organisation whose agenda she does not agree with. From 1st January 2008, full disclosure at the time of the request by those seeking use of her artwork must be made of any links they may have to other organisations with a social/political agenda.

Any use of Lynette Weir’s artwork, particularly prior to 1st January 2008 by any organisation involved in activities with which Lynette Weir does not agree with, nor condones, is due to a misunderstanding of the nature of the organisation as was presented to her at the time of requesting the use of her artwork. The use of Lynette Weir’s artwork by such an organisation should not be seen as supportive of them, nor any views expressed within that organisation.

  1. Hello Lynette,
I am truly inspired by your work. I am a printmaking student at Converse College in Spartanburg S C. I also have a degree in Horticulture. Throughout my career in printmaking, I have been using plant as my subject matter and therefore attracted to your work. I am seeking your permission to use photograph of your work to present in a powerpoint to share with the class. Please let me know if this is okay
