The Tawny Frogmouth chicks now range in age from 6 days, 5 days and 3 days.
Some friends who live on a local property have had a couple of resident Tawny Frogmouths - Podargus strigoides - who have bred in a tree beside their house for a few years now. I have finally finished carving the linoleum blocks for the "Tawny Expressions" linocut print. They are smaller blocks but a lot of smaller complex carving with the No 1 blade so fiddly and time consuming.
