New Linocut! Banksia serrata – Saw Banksia with Seedpod
Saw Banksia with Seedpod I have finally finished this Banksia serrata linocut - after designing 1, designing 2, designing 3, carving, printing and last night handcolouring it's done! This was a complex carving but has a more limited palette for colouring. It will be part of the Design Art series.

Currently on the linocut carving board…
On the carving board I currently have 4 new 'design art' linocuts. I have had these designs ready to carve for months now - just haven't got to them but I have now started carving I promise! There is a mistletoe, native rhododendron, hakea and grevillea.
Wildlife Art @ Discovery 2008 – Silver Award
I have just received a certificate from the Wildlife And Botanical Artists Incorporated - WABA - saying I had received a Silver Award (Print) for my Tawny Stare Linocut - this was from their recent exhibition in Canberra. A lovely surprise!!
