The correas in my garden are now starting to flower. These delicate 'bell-like' flowers have a range of colours and sizes. Flying Foxes

These flying foxes are part of a local colony including both vulnerable species - the black flying fox (PTEROPUS ALECTO) and the Queensland long eared bat (NYCTOPHILUS BIFAX) They are currently within the Maguires Creek Big Scrub Remnant and every evening they fly out in search of food. Raptor

Whilst wandering around the Bagotville Barrage this raptor made a quick and brief appearance as it soared by into the distance in search of its distant mate. Not sure what sort of raptor it is....
