When I was visiting our little local rainforest area recently I took lots of photos of dragonflies - here are just a few. Not sure what they are - I am looking forward to eventually getting that lovely dragonfly book from the bookstore...maybe for Christmas...hope the family reads this blog!!

These is our little local creek. There are a series of small waterholes which have yabbies and dragonflies...with water running over rocks. These are some Spring Waratahs - Telopia speciosissima I took these photos last Saturday - these flowers still continue to amaze and fascinate me...they are such a stunning and visually dramatic flowers. Each Spring I am still drawn to photograph these stunning Australian wildflower.
