I am just on the end of carving this linocut design based on strawflowers - everlasting daisies from my garden. I am quite pleased with the actual design and carving - just need to see how it prints now!

Just a quick post about my work featuring in the latest Homespun yearbook (dare I say 'also available at your local newsagent') which has a focus in this issue on Australian Flora and Fauna. as you can see they featured some of my 'design art' images and a Tawny Frogmouth.
Whilst at Yamba yesterday I also photographed some seagulls - Silver Gulls - Larus novaehollandiae. They of course could be found in great numbers around the boat ramps where fisherman bring in their catches as well as right outside the Fisherman's co-op where they serve fish and chips!
